こんにちは！ ジョーです。 今、日本にいます。 すごい、ね？ 日曜日、ホムスタイの家族を会いました。月曜日、welcome party に行きました。火曜日、bowlingへ行った。昨日、クラスをみて、先生の有ごはんにいった。楽しかった。
精勤、お天気は晴れです。３０度ぐらいでした。私のhost familyは良いです。この週末、あきはばらへ行こう。おもしろい、ね？

So, I know it's been a while since I posted, but I feel this is important. I got home from a final at CU and decided that I would reward myself by watching the movie Happy Feet. Oh my gosh, that movie made me cry so hard! I can't believe how badly we are raping our planet. I request kindly that everyone who reads this looks into switching to wind energy! Here in CO, if you have Xcel it cost less than an extra $6 per month to switch completely over to wind energy and think of how much you will be helping the environment! Please please look into it!

So, I finally convinced my parents to buy the family a new computer, and we just got a brand new Mac! It's so shiny and it's a lot more powerful than our previous computer. I am really excited to see what it can do!

So, I got my Creative Zen Vision:M in the mail yesterday and it is fucking awesome. Also, on a side note, TMNT is coming out as a movie at the end of March. It looks mildly amusing.

Tonight I managed to get out of the house for the first time in over a week. It was well worth it considering that school restarts in three days. -_-
Also, I decided to go with the Zen Vision:M. I have a workable graphics card that only has trouble with one of my games and the rest will function at less than high settings, yet considering how often I play (or don't play for that matter) PC games, I figured the Zen would be a much worth while purchase. I have often found myself a bit jealous of the people that have video I-PODs, yet I will not bring myself to purchase one and be in the clutches of Apple's software for the rest of my life. Plus, the Zen will be good on the bus to Boulder. I can catch up on my TV shows during the only free time that I have!

P.S. Samuu, the reason that I am not paying my parents off with this money is because they don't want me too. I gave them every single penny of my b-day money and they wanted me to go do something for myself this time. Plus considering that I no longer have to fill a car with gas (that's a different story), I will have more money to pay them off with on a monthly basis. |

I also got a digital camera as well as some random things for my trip to Japan this summer. I also got a bunch of money and am contemplating either a new graphics card for my computer or a Creative Zen Vision:M, I can't really decide which I would enjoy more.

I have successfully survived a 7% admission rate and have been selected to represent the entire school district as an Ambassador to Japan. Yay for 6 weeks touring Japan this summer!!!

So, I finally got my wireless card working on my old Pentium II laptop. I was running Win98, which apparently is incompatible with my particular wireless card. After trying many of the various fixes that were recommended to me, I just said screw it and installed XP. As much as I didn't want to to this, it's better in my opinion to be able to use the internet.

So, I am in the U.K. currently. I left last Wednesday and have spent the last five days traveling to Ireland or in Ireland. Spent, yesterday in Wales and am currently in England, but we are just passing through so that we can get to Scotland. I am coming back to England though in a few days. Hmmm.... ya. I have been sending out more detailed e-mail digests, so if you want to start getting them, then give me your e-mail, otherwise this is the last you are going to hear of this trip... ^^

So, what has been going on it Dark's life you ask. Well the answer to that is: not a whole lot! (I know that is incorrect grammer, but oh well!) School ends this upcoming Thursday and my grades fucking suck. I honestly don't know what happened to me this year, but I just fell through. I hope that next year will be so much better because otherwise I won't be accepted to any good schools! College classes next year to! Woot!
I am also really excited as I leave for a 17 day tour of Great Britain in 9 days. (Paid for by driving a $300 car that works intermittantly and not doing very much else but save money. In fact I still owe my parents a bunch of money for it still!)
Also my fencing has really taken off. I won my first tournament last weekend. I only got to the quarter finals in the individual event (which my fencing teacher ended up winning) but in the team event I managed to be my instructor's team and my team won! Not bad for my second tournament ever, ne? In the fall I get to start on CU's fencing team which should be interesting as olympic style fencing is way different from historical fencing. (Be thankful that I left out all of the "playing with sword" jokes but you are free to make some yourselves!)

So I put up a website advertising a computer company over two months ago and never go any takers. Well, finally Google has found it and I am starting to get customers. I feel odd running my own company as a high school student, but computer is my native language, so.... We'll have to see how it all goes.
